How to report a campaign
If you believe a campaign is fraudulent, misleading, or violates our terms of service, you can report it directly. We investigate all reports within 24 hours.
Go to the campaign page
Navigate to the campaign you want to report. You can find it by searching on the Campaigns page or following a direct link.
Click "Report fundraiser"
Scroll to the bottom of the campaign page and click the "Report fundraiser" link. This opens the report form.
Select a reason
Choose the reason that best describes your concern: Fraud or misrepresentation, Misleading information, Inappropriate content, Duplicate campaign, or Other.
Provide details
In the text field, describe what you observed and why you believe the campaign is problematic. Include any evidence you have: links, screenshots, or specific details. The more information you provide, the faster we can investigate.
Submit your report
Click "Submit Report". You will receive a confirmation that your report was received. Your identity is kept confidential. The campaign organiser will not know who reported them.
What happens next
Our trust team reviews all reports within 24 hours. If the campaign is found to be fraudulent, it is paused immediately and all donors are notified. Confirmed fraud triggers our Giving Guarantee: full refunds for all donors.
Tip
You can also report a campaign by emailing trust@ubuntupool.com with the campaign URL and details of your concern. Include as much evidence as possible.
