Notification settings
Ubuntu Pool sends you notifications about your campaigns, donations, and withdrawals. Here is how to manage what you receive and how.
Go to Notifications
Log in and click the bell icon in the top navigation bar, or go to Dashboard → Notifications. This shows your notification history and a link to notification settings.
Email notifications
By default, you receive email notifications for: new donations to your campaigns, withdrawal status updates, campaign milestone alerts, and important account security events. You can turn off non-essential emails in your notification settings.
In-app notifications
In-app notifications appear in the bell icon in the navigation bar. These include all the same events as email notifications. In-app notifications cannot be disabled as they are essential for account management.
Donation update emails
If you donate to a campaign and opt in, you will receive email updates when the organiser posts a campaign update. You can unsubscribe from these at any time using the unsubscribe link in the email.
Unsubscribe from marketing emails
To stop receiving promotional emails from Ubuntu Pool (e.g. featured campaigns, platform news), click the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any marketing email. This does not affect transactional emails like donation receipts.
SMS notifications
For critical events like withdrawal approvals, we may send an SMS to your registered phone number. SMS notifications cannot be disabled as they are used for security and financial alerts.
Tip
Keep email notifications enabled for withdrawal status updates. These are the most important notifications and ensure you know when your funds have been approved and disbursed.
