Update your profile
Keep your profile up to date so donors and campaign organisers can recognise you. Here is how to update your name, photo, and account details.
Go to your dashboard
Log in to Ubuntu Pool and click your profile photo or name in the top navigation bar. Select "Profile Settings" from the dropdown menu.
Update your display name
Enter your full name or the name you want displayed publicly on donations and campaigns. Click "Save Changes" when done.
Upload a profile photo
Click the profile photo area and select an image from your device. Use a clear, recent photo of yourself. Supported formats: JPG, PNG. Maximum size: 5MB.
Update your email address
To change your email, enter the new address in the Email field and click "Save". You will receive a verification email at the new address. Click the link to confirm the change.
Change your password
In the Security section, enter your current password and then your new password twice. Click "Update Password". You will be logged out of all other devices.
Update your phone number
Your phone number is used for mobile money withdrawals. Keep it current and accurate. Enter your number in international format (e.g. +256771234567) and click "Save".
Tip
A complete profile with a real name and photo builds trust with donors. Campaigns run by verified, named organisers with profile photos raise significantly more than anonymous ones.
