How to withdraw funds
Once your campaign has collected donations, you can request a withdrawal at any time. Funds are sent directly to your mobile money account or bank after admin approval.
Complete KYC verification first
You must complete identity verification (KYC) before your first withdrawal. If you have not done this yet, go to Dashboard → Verify Account and submit your documents.
Go to Withdrawals
From your dashboard, click "Withdrawals" in the navigation menu. You will see your available balance and a button to request a new withdrawal.
Enter the withdrawal amount
Enter the amount you want to withdraw. The minimum withdrawal is UGX 1,000. You cannot withdraw more than your available campaign balance.
Choose your payout method
Select how you want to receive the funds: MTN Mobile Money, Airtel Money, or bank transfer. Enter your mobile number or bank account details.
Add a note (optional)
You can add a note explaining what the funds will be used for. This is visible to the admin team during review and helps speed up approval.
Submit your request
Click "Request Withdrawal". Your request is sent to the Ubuntu Pool admin team for review. You will receive an email confirmation that your request was received.
Wait for approval and disbursement
The admin team reviews withdrawal requests within 1 business day. Once approved, funds are disbursed within 3–5 business days. You will receive an email notification at each stage.
Tip
You can make multiple withdrawal requests from the same campaign. You do not need to wait until your campaign ends. Withdraw funds as you need them.
